Specialty Strands (LOCs)
To compliment their professional development seminar, teachers will have opportunities to sign-up for various learning object creation classes. These hands-on experiences (offered Periods 2 & 3) are designed to introduce participants to a variety of applications which can be used to create learning objects which can then be added to enhance the content within their Moodle shells. The class offerings are:

Read/Write Revolution – Web 2.0 technologies as Learning Objects (Janice Stearns)

Giggle with Google - Google Earth, Google Docs, Google Groups and other Google tools (John Rivera)

Video – Various methods for embedding video web resources into Moodle to enhance online instruction (John Lenhardt)

Beginning & Advanced Photography – Capture, editing and imbedding as a Learning Objects (Bob Sachs)
Participants have two classes.
